The James & Law Company is a result of a 1905 merger between the James Shepherd Company (1903) and the A. S. Law Company (1899). Mr. James and Mr. Law set out from the beginning to provide their customers with the best selection of products and services available.  While our product offering have changed over the last 123 years, we still strive to provide customers quality product and impeccable service.

Since 1912, we have provided textbook depository service to school districts and schools West Virginia. In the beginning we provided the materials of fourteen publishers.  We now act as in-state distribution agent for over fifty publishers of K-12 educational programs.

 

The Gift Shop of old is gone, along with the Athletic Equipment and Photography and Framing Departments; however we continue to provide Office Furniture, Office & School Supplies.  We also offer West Virginia Books, Coin Supplies and an  American made Flag.

 

Our Office Furniture Department combine decades of design and installation experience and over 10,000 sq. ft. of physical (static) display to provide our customers a stress free experience when it comes to expanding, moving, or just changing their office environment.
